We do not know what it is like to get up early every morning knowing that our focus is to leave our homes and search for hours to find water. Once back home we rest because we have carried up to 30 pounds (or more) of water for miles. But we are not done yet. We then go back out for several more hours to find substances to make a fire to cook and to boil the water we found so that it is safe to drink. And yet the day is still not finished. There is still the need to find and prepare food. If we have fire left over once the sun goes down, we will have light until we go to bed. If not, we will be in darkness.
